En la actualidad, toda actividad con componente estético o artístico se convierte en una experiencia que va más allá de la contemplación. Así sucede en campos como la moda o la decoración. Y, si hay un referente en esta tendencia, éstos son, sin duda, los diseñadores de Viktor&Rolf.

Estos diseñadores holandeses convierte cualquier actividad en algo más que la observación: a mitad de camino entre el arte y la moda, desarrollan la escultura a través de sus diseños, crean espectáculos dignos de museo en sus desfiles y se atreven siempre con la extravagancia, ya sea abriendo una tienda donde los muebles cuelgan del techo o lanzando un perfume sin fragancia.

These Dutch designers turn every activity in something more than observing: halfway between art and fashion, they develop sculptures throw their designs, they create performances in their fashion shows that could be placed in museums, and always dare to flamboyance in everything they do, such as opening a store where furniture hangs from the ceiling or launching an unscented perfume.

Trabajadores incansables, cuentan una historia en cada proyecto nuevo que desarrollan. Por eso, nunca dejan indiferentes. Nada tan fascinante como averiguar qué cuento nos transmiten con cada colección, e imaginar cuál llevará el hilo conductor de su próximo desfile. No en vano han publicado su propio libro de cuentos de hadas. Este año nos han sorprendido con un desfile por un sinuoso camino, bajo la luz de la luna llena e inspirado en el hombre lobo y en el cine negro, donde los materiales más relevantes son la piel y el tweed, además de las texturas de lencería.

Tireless workers, they tell a story in each new project they develop. So they don't leave anyone indifferent. Nothing is as exciting as finding out what story they are transmitting us throw each collection, and imagining what will the theme of their next show.
