La Feria MoOD (antigua DECOSIT) de Bruselas nos trae las nuevas tendencias en decoración. / MoOD Fair (formerly DECOSIT) Brussels brings the new decoration trends.

Tras la visita de Ybarra&Serret a la feria de tejidos de tapicería y decoración MoOD (Meet only Original Designs), corroboramos que, un año más, éste es un punto de encuentro indispensable y determinante para estar al día de las tendencias en decoración.

After Ybarra & Serret's visit to to upholstery and decorative fabrics fair MoOD (Meet only Original Designs), we confirm, once again, that this is an essential and determining meeting point to be updated of the trends in decoration.

Este año, MoOD ha recuperado el movimiento artístico de los ‘60 denominado Fluxus – flujo en latín- , impulsado por Yoko Ono y Stanley Brown entre otros. Este Fluxus marcó un periodo de transición y dejó una marca imborrable durante el resto del siglo XX. Así, las tres tendencias tomadas de este movimiento están relacionadas con la transición, seguir hacia adelante – PRORSUM- y la excentricidad. Transición: recoge la abundancia y mezcla de estilos, el uso de materiales naturales y los coloridos optimistas en tonos azules, verdes, blancos, pastel, naturales. Los materiales más característicos de esta tendencia son los linos y los satenes con relieve, junto con el tartán y el terciopelo jaquard.

This year, has recovered an artistic movement called Fluxus '60 - feom the Latin word flow- driven, among others. by Yoko Ono and Stanley Brown. This Fluxus marked a transition period and left an indelible mark for the rest of the 20th Century. Thus, the three trends taken from this movement are related to the transition, move on - PRORSUM-and excentricity. Transition: reflects the abundance and a mixture of styles, the use of natural materials and optimistic colours such as blue, green, white, pastel, natural hues. The most characteristic fabrics of this trend are the linens and embossed satins as well as tartan and velvet jacquard.

La feria, celebrada entre el 10 y el 13 de Septiembre de 2012, contó con unos 7.000 visitantes. En esta ocasión, los expositores coincidieron en el nivel de los asistentes, entre los que se mezclaban europeos con asiáticos – la inmensa mayoría - y con una creciente presencia de visitantes del Norte de África, principalmente desde Marruecos y Túnez. Las conclusiones de esta feria fueron positivas para todos los participantes en un evento donde, además de la mayor presencia del color y la onmipresente innovación, se vuelve a mirar al futuro con confianza. The fair, that took place from September 10th to September 13rd -2012-, attracted some 7,000 visitors. On this occasion, the exhibitors agreed on the level of the participants, including European mixed with Asian - the vast majority - and with a growing presence of visitors from North Africa, mainly from Morocco and Tunisia. The conclussions of this fair were positive for all participants in an event where, in addition to the increased presence of color and a omnipresent innovation, looks turn to the future with confidence.
